Being pelagic creature found specially in the continental shelves of North America and Asia, and fond of living in the shallow water of the ocean, the Thresher Sharks happen to swim just 560 m beneath the sea water surface.

Thresher Sharks are found in brownish, bluish and purplish gray colors.

Thresher Sharks hunt their prey by their tail which happens to be one third of their entire body and helps in ensnaring their targeted marine creature or fish.

Thresher Sharks measure 16 to 21 fit by their length and 540 kg by their weight. They happen to be slender by their physique and their eyes being much smaller in comparison with other sharks.

Thresher Sharks happen to migrate from one place to other and are supposed to be predatory marine shark by their nature. The female Thresher Sharks mature slowly in comparison with their male counterparts.
