Found generally in the sea water of Norway, South Africa, New Zealand, and Chile, and specially in Japanese sea water the Frilled Shark does not exceed 3 to 4 fit by its length. Frilled Shark is notorious for its razor sharp teeth hunting and grabbing its prey for feeding upon efficiently.

As far Frilled Shark’s origin is concerned they are supposed to have originated thousands of years ago. The Frilled Shark is recognized as Hexanchiform shark as well. Being viviparous marine creature the Frilled Shark gives birth 4 to 12 pups at time in a litter. The female Frilled Shark becomes pregnant again only after years.
