  • Though the Sharks are not supposed to be useful commercially except by their leather, some of them like Mako Sharks are used in USA for making a delicious soup.
  • Baby sharks are recognized as Pups.
  • As far as the production of Sharks is concerned it has three ways to be adopted. One, laying the eggs; two hatching the eggs inside the uterus of female Shark and third, pups are given birth.
  • Sharks laying eggs can lay up to 80/90 eggs at a time, while those giving birth to pups can’t exceed more than 20 at a time.
  • Having a powerful sensory perception the Sharks manage to detect approaching prey or its foe.
  • Being nomadic the Sharks happen to roam from one place to another and prefer to roam near human dominated off shores.
