The word “danger” has different significance for the men and the sharks. All the giant sharks are not supposed to pose a danger to humans as they happen to be calm by their nature and just after satisfying their need of food, by feeding upon planktons and crabs, they prefer to remain cuddling aiming at no any one to harm, unless annoyed or disturbed. While half of the 370 species of the sharks become easily aggressively dangerous following something coming on their way and can wage a battle with the stranger, generally they prefer not to cause a harm specially to the sea divers.

Though the powerful enemy of the sharks posing a grave danger of live in the sea is the sea-snake, man can not be ignored for its strategically exterminating the existence of the sharks from the sea for the sake of meeting his meager personal requirements. Man has proven him to be a great danger of entire species of the sharks.

Some of the most dangerous sharks are Blueshark, Greenlandshark, Riffshark, Hammerheadshark, Greatwhite and Makosharks. These sharks being too aggressive and wrathful by their nature target very efficiently even the bigger sea animals such as seals, sea lions, sea elephants, and polar bears as well.

Half of the 370 recognized species of the sharks do not prefer to cause danger by causing attack on the sea divers even after finding them much closer to them. There are several incidents of attacks on the human divers by sharks only due to their inability in recognizing the swimming diver because of invisible sea water.
