The ornamental colorful design printed on entire part of its body makes Epaulette Sharks a bewitching marine creature which in turn christens it the name Epaulette Shark. Some of the Epaulette Sharks have a golden base color and random dark spots over their skin while some have only a tan color with a glittering shine.
The Epaulette Shark is found in the sea water of northern Australia and New Guinea. It can pass through the coral branches and reef fissures very easily. The Epaulette Shark happens to be 3.5 fit by its length. Its prefers to reside in the warm temperature sea water varying between 20 to 24 degree Celsius.
The Epaulette Shark is an oviparous marine creature laying the eggs in the sea water. Only 2 to 3 eggs are laid at a time during the night hours only. The laid eggs hatch in 130 days at not less than 30 degree Celsius temperature in the sea water.
