Blue shark is one of the highly 20 dangerous Shark species in the world. But despite the fact of its predatory nature there has been no any report substantiating its attack on human beings exterminating the latter in the sea.

Blue shark prefers to dwell in cool and temperate waters of the tropical ocean, but far away from the coast deep into the sea. The Blue sharks happen to be nomadic by their nature and can be described as the gigantic migratory marine creature.

It has been established as the fact that their general migration is restricted only between New England and South America due to there’s favorable climate which they prefer the most.

Being too heavy by their weight (210 kg) and 13 fit length the Blue sharks are considered to be too large and lethargic for faster movement, but they can't be beaten in the race provided any emergent situation warrants them to run faster.

Being viviparous the Blue sharks are prominent for their large litters containing 6 to 126 pups at a time. Despite being capable of attacking a large sea animal for the sake of their foods the Blue sharks feed on the cuttlefish, pelagic octopi, lobster, shrimp, crab, a large number of bony fishes, small sharks, mammalian carrion and occasional sea birds and squid.

Their coming face to face with fishermen is too rare as they remain far away from the coast which saves their lives.
