Being found specially in a shallow muddy water of Massachusetts and Brazil, the Sandbar Sharks happen to be of brown color and similar in shape and size to that of Bull shark.
Exceptional thing about them is that they become too active during the dawn and dusk in all kinds of activities including even hunting and their mating. The Sandbar Shark is recognized by its small and heavy rounded snout in comparison with other types of sharks.
Living specially in the shallow water of harbors and estuaries the Sandbar Shark prefers to dwell in the temperate water and can swim 200 meter deeper the sea efficiently. It preys on the sea dwellers specially fishes. Being viviparous the Sandbar Shark gives 1 to 10 pups in litter at a time.
