Sand sharks are commonly found in the shallow and sandy water of sea. Theirs scudding near the cosatal areas christens them the name Sand sharks. Their emergence is found in the Western Indian Ocean and the Gulf of Maine.

Being brownish by their color the length of an adult Sand shark has been measured 4 to 10 fit. Their exceptional symptom is theirs floating on the sea water after gulping the air and targeting the vulnerable creature their prey for fulfilling the need of hunger.

The teeth of Sand sharks are too sharp and just like the needle to capture and eat the different types of marine creatures specially the fishes of the sea.
